Streaks counts the days in a row you and a friend message each other on Discord. This server only keeps the count. It never sees what you write.

The count goes up by one when you and your friend have each sent at least one message in your DM on the same day. Ten messages from one side still count as zero days.
Your day is your day
Each person's day ends at their own midnight. A friend in Tokyo and one in Istanbul both get a full day.

A grey flame means today isn't done yet. Skip a whole day and the count goes back to zero.

Turn it on in a minute.
You need the Plexcord client and a Discord account. Nothing else to install.
- 1.Open Discord settings with Ctrl , and go to Plexcord › Plugins.
- 2.Search for Streaks and switch it on.
- 3.Open the plugin's settings and press Log in. Discord asks you to confirm.
- 4.Message a friend. Flames show up next to their name in your DM list and on their messages.
What we keep, and what we don't.
- The two Discord user ids in each streak
- The day count and the days you completed it
- Each person's timezone, like
Europe/Istanbul - The time each of you was last active in that DM, as a timestamp only
- Message content, attachments or reactions
- Your Discord token. It is checked with Discord, held in memory for five minutes, then forgotten
- Your friends list, servers or email
- Analytics or tracking cookies on this site
The API.
Every streak route needs Authorization: Bearer <discord token>. Limit: 60 requests a minute per user. Errors come back as { "error": "..." }.

Questions.
Can the server read my messages?
No. When a DM message is sent, the plugin tells the server one thing: which of the two people was active today. The text, attachments and even the message id stay in your client.
What does Discord share with this server?
The login asks for the identify scope only: your user id and public profile. The server uses the token to confirm who is calling and never asks for anything else.
My friend doesn't use the plugin. Does the streak still count?
Yes, as long as one of you does. Your client tells the server that both of you were active in that DM today, without any message content, so the count keeps going.
Why is my flame grey?
One of you hasn't sent a message today yet. The count is safe until the end of the next day; send something and the colour comes back.
I used Streaks before it had an account. Are my old counts gone?
No. The first time you log in, the plugin uploads your local counts. Each one is capped at 50 days, because the other person never confirmed it.
How do I remove my data?
Log out in the plugin settings to delete the token from your client. To delete your stored streaks too, ask in the Plexcord Discord and we remove every row with your id.
